FAQ
When should we involve FHI in a project?
The earlier the better. Early structural and civil engineering input helps identify technical constraints, improve coordination and reduce the risk of costly changes later in the design or construction process.
We can usually provide a clear scope of works and proposal once the architectural concept has been established and concept drawings are available. If you are just starting to develop your project idea or scope and need an architect, please contact us for recommendations.
What type of projects does FHI work on?
FHI supports residential developments, commercial buildings, industrial facilities and civil engineering projects. Our work includes structural design, civil engineering input, drawings, inspections, modelling, schedules and project coordination.
Do you work with architects, developers and contractors?
Yes. FHI works closely with architects, developers, contractors, homeowners, project managers and professional teams to provide practical engineering solutions from planning through to construction.
What engineering services does FHI provide?
FHI provides structural and civil engineering services, including design, technical documentation, site inspections, project meetings, modelling, structural drawings, schedules and engineering support during construction.
However, if you require a full consulting engineering team for your project, please still contact us. We can recommend mechanical and fire engineering companies with whom we regularly work closely.
